Dining Delights in Noosa: Our Top Picks

Noosa Restaurants

As a food enthusiast and a Noosa local, I’ve had the pleasure of exploring the diverse culinary scene this coastal paradise has to offer. From iconic beachside eateries to hidden gems tucked away in Noosa Junction, each dining experience is a unique journey for the taste buds. Let me take you on a virtual tour of my personal favorites, each contributing to the vibrant tapestry of Noosa’s dining culture.

First and foremost, for a taste of authentic Italian cuisine, 250 Grammi on Gympie Terrace is my absolute top pick. The charming setting along the river complements the delicious pasta and pizza dishes. It’s a place where you can savor the essence of Italy while overlooking the serene waters of Noosa.  You can’t go past their wood fired pizzas, we cannot resist the Quattro Formaggi (Four Cheeses) served with a little honey jar for those who like a touch of sweetness and of course the Parma with a generous serve of prosciutto, rocket and buffalo mozzarella. Delicious food and great service!

Boathouse on the River is another gem that captures the essence of Noosa’s coastal charm. With its relaxed setting and a menu showcasing fresh, locally sourced ingredients, it’s a delightful spot to unwind and enjoy a leisurely meal literally over the water. Boasting a superb sunset cocktail bar with a captivating view of the Noosa River, making it an ideal spot for a delightful summer evening. Additionally, there’s an outstanding fish and chips takeaway where you can pick up a blanket and enjoy a picnic along the riverbank. The fish is incredibly fresh, boasting an impeccable batter that’s tough to rival. To complement the experience, you can also purchase a refreshing beer.

One of my absolute go-tos is Bang Bang on Hastings Street. With its eclectic menu inspired by Southeast Asian street food, every visit is a flavour-packed adventure. The vibrant atmosphere and creative cocktails make it a perfect spot for a casual yet memorable evening.  Their menu is varied and with so many amazing dishes, it can be hard to choose from.  Designed to share, Bang Bang offers dishes like Sticky Pork Belly, Pad Seuw, Creamy Coconut & Crab Lon, BBQ Barramundi and much much more. If you can’t decide, I would fully recommend their Banquet menus starting from $65 per person which gives you a showcase of their favourite dishes.

No culinary journey in Noosa is complete without a visit to Flo Creperie in Noosa Junction. This quaint creperie exudes a French countryside vibe, and their huge selection of sweet crepes and savory galettes are a true indulgence for the palate. I have a particular fondness for the Burrata Salad Galette, a savory crepe filled with fresh burrata, prosciutto, sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, walnuts, and a medley of mixed leaf salad. It’s a light and flavorful choice, wonderfully complemented by a glass of Riesling and of course their sweet crepes are something to be admired.

For a delightful breakfast, make sure to check out 10 Hastings Street. The menu boasts a diverse selection of delicious options, and the charming beachside setting adds a touch of enchantment to the morning dining experience. It’s an ideal way to kick off a day of exploration in Noosa. In addition to the classic favorites such as smashed avocado, bacon and eggs, and eggs benedict, they also feature unique dishes like Spanish Baked Eggs & Chorizo. The servings are generous, and each dish is presented with beautiful attention to detail.

Double Shot Cafe, located on Gympie Terrace, is another excellent choice for a satisfying breakfast with a view across the Noosa River. Its riverfront location and delectable menu create an ideal setting to begin the day. The service is great, you won’t have to wait long for your meal, and their breakfast burger is ideal for those craving a substantial and hearty dish. Personally, I find it hard to resist their sweet corn fritters and refreshing selection of fresh juices.

For those seeking a laid-back spot to enjoy a beer and a great meal, Four Pines Pub in Noosa Junction is an ideal choice. It’s not solely about the craft beers; the pub fare is outstanding, and the ambiance is consistently lively. Situated in the heart of Noosa Junction, QLD, this coastal-inspired craft beer venue provides a vibrant, fresh, and inclusive atmosphere for all. Just a short distance from the iconic Hastings St, 4 Pines Noosa features 12 taps pouring the freshest beer from the local 4 Pines Brew team, including their specially brewed Noosa Lager.

Sandwiched between the bustling Hastings Street and the pristine Noosa Main Beach, Season Restaurant in Noosa is a fine dining experience that showcases the region’s fresh produce. The menu, expertly crafted by talented chefs, reflects the essence of Noosa’s culinary excellence. With views over main beach, it is a perfect romantic spot to take your loved one.  The menu has a great selection of both meat and fish dishes. Their Spanner Crab Pasta is absolutely delicious, or why not try the BBQ Eye Fillet served with horseradish mash, watercress, baby onion with crisp pancetta and pepper jus.

Paradise Arcade offers a taste of Cali-Mexican cuisine to share amongst friends and family. The vibrant flavors and beachy vibes transport you to the sunny beaches of Mexico, providing a unique and delightful lively dining experience. Explore bold options such as their Jalapeno Poppers and the Holy Shittake Quesadilla for an flavour explosion!

Noosa’s dining scene is a rich tapestry of flavors, and these are just a few of my personal favorites. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, exploring the diverse culinary offerings in Noosa is a journey worth savoring.
