Any beach house that puts a foosball table on the verandah by the bbq immediately wins my heart. But that’s just the start. Having direct access to the beach meant we started our days with a leisurely stroll and coffee by the water while the dog splashed around. The house is great for dogs with the yard fenced up properly so you don’t have to stress while their outside. Shops are close to pick up the supplies conveniently. We BBQ’d most days except for one lunch where we drove 10mins to the Coolum surf club for the fresh seafood. For the active, you can catch a walk/run around Hell’s Gates lookout. I made it a 15km loop through the national park but you could cut it to 10 if you wanted. I’m not sure why they call it Hell’s Gates though because the coastline is pristine. Just amazing. This place is prime. Big house, lots of amenities including the media room which made for lazy nights in with a bottle of wine. Master bedroom is crazy big and there’s enough break out space so that everyone staying doesn’t have to sit on top of each other in the common areas. You’ll easily find a space for some “you” time if you need it when staying with many. Also, If you have kids, they get their own rumpus area with a tv downstairs. Huge plus. It’s in the Noosa Goldilocks zone. It’s close enough to get in there quickly and easily for a swim but far enough away to enjoy the tranquility of the Sunshine Coast away from the hustle and bustle.
